Objective
The UK Offshore Legislation course serves to provide individuals working in Health and Safety Management positions offshore with the awareness and understanding of current UK offshore legislation
Course content
Module 1: HASWA, EC Legislation, Working Time Regulations, Noise and Vibration Regulations and European 6 Pac. Module 2: MAR - PFEER- DCR and Pipeline Regulations. Module 3: Safety Case Regulations, Risk Assessments, SIMOPS and Bridge Docs. Module 4: LOLER-PUWER-COSHH, Working at Height Regulations and Confined Space Regulations. Module 5: RIDDOR, Safety Representatives and Accident Investigation. Module 6: BEIS (OPRED), Waste Management and Offshore Pollution Regulations Module 7: SOLAS, IMO, IAMSAR, CAA and ERRV Regulations.
Exam
On successful completion of this course, delegates will be issued a RelyOnNutec UK Offshore Legislation certificate. The duration of this course is 4 days and is a combination of both theory and practical content. This course can be delivered at RelyOnNutec training centres in Dyce.
