Course content
The topics covered during this training are:
- Background information on lead and sources of contamination and exposure
- Review of regulations
- Hazard recognition and controls
- Health effects and exposure measurements
- Personal protective measures
- Indoor and outdoor abatement of paint, dust, and soil
- Clean-up and disposal
- Records access
Exam
The candidate will be required to score a minimum competency of 70% on a written exam. The candidate will also have to demonstrate hands on competency.
