The delegate will be able to demonstrate the proper line handling techniques to avoid risks associated with injuries that can occur from improper usage.
Course content
The contents covered during this training are:
- characteristics of lines used on the inland waterways
- dangers of working with lines such as line "snap-back"
- hazards such as stepping in the bight of the line
- proper lifting techniques
Exam
The candidate will be required to score a minimum of 70% on a written exam.
