Offshore/onshore workers possibly exposed to H2S gas
Prerequisites
There is no prerequisite for this course.
Objective
Upon completion of the course, the delegate will be able to:
-Describe what H2S is and where are its sources found
-Identify several symptoms of H2S exposure and the exposure limits
-Describe physical characteristics
-Understand exposure to different ppm (parts per million)
-Know the signal and actions associated with monitoring systems
-Use respirators and gas detectors in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR standards

Exam
The delegate will be required to attain a minimum score of 70% on a written assessment and be deemed competent on a practical assessment.
