The topics covered during this training are: - How to inspect slings to be used - How to perform pre-use & monthly crane inspections and documentation - Understanding the safe lifting triangle - Defining the titles ¿Crane Operator¿ and ¿Rigger¿ - Interpreting load charts - Determining load weights - Understanding basic rigging - Using a load angle indicator - Discussing offshore crane situations (weight distribution and buoyancy)
Exam
The candidate will be required to score a minimum competency of 70% on a written exam.
