This course will identify the hazards of incipient fire fighting and familiarize trainee with the general principles of fire extinguishment including; causes of fire, fire prevention, classes of fire, and suppression agents. Each student is required to pass Three Performance checks. The Checks are as follows: Proper Usage of a Fire Extinguisher, Preparation and Use of a fire hose, and Self Rescue Techniques.
