Objective
This 24 hour (3 day) course is designed to satisfy the minimum training requirements set forth in Coast Guard Regulations for the Position of Tankerman-PIC (Barge).

-Inert gas systems
-Gas free operations
-Basic Stability
-Pre-transfer requirements
-Loading operations
-Discharge operations
-Ballasting / Deballasting
-Tank cleaning
-Recordkeeping
-Pollution prevention
-Spill response
-Emergency procedures
Exam
The candidate will be required to score a minimum competency of 70% on a written exam.
