This course is aimed at delegates who are employed in the lifting equipment inspection industry, or company personnel who are involved in the control and/or coordination and purchasing of lifting equipment.

Valid LEI Module 1 General Lifting Equipment Certificate
Objective
• Refresh delegates in the technical aspects of proof load testing and thorough examination of lifting accessories and manual appliances.
• The course covers preparation of certificates practical assessment.
• The successful completion of this course will provide continuation of the EAL competence qualification.

Course Handout: Delegates are required to bring their copy of The International Rigging & Lifting Handbook. If not, RON will provide a loaner copy.
Exam
The course is divided into classroom theory and practical exercises. The course includes a written test paper as well as practical assessment.
