Target group
This course is designed for Seafarers employed or engaged in any capacity on board ship on the business of that ship as part of the ship's complement.
Prerequisites
Delegates must be at least Seventeen (17) years
Objective
• To instil Maritime, Offshore Workers and Offshore Service Personnel with the correct skills and knowledge to ensure their own personal safety whilst executing shipboard duties • To ensure all delegates identify and correctly respond to emergencies aboard a ship

Exam
Delegates are assessed against STCW Basic Safety Training (STCW Code A-VI/1). Should delegates fail to meet these standards, RelyOn Nutec shall provide additional coaching to provide the delegate with as much of an opportunity as possible to meet those requirements.
