This STCW IMDG code awareness e-learning course is aimed at personnel involved in the transport of dangerous goods. The course has been developed in accordance with STCW Code Section B-V/b, V/c and IMO MSC.406(96) par 1.3.1.4.7. The course or certificate is not flag state approved.
Course content
Recognise the regulations which cover the transportation of dangerous goods at sea
Identify the different marking classifications associated with dangerous goods
Describe the packaging requirements for transportation of dangerous goods
Explain the stowage regulations related to different classifications of dangerous goods
State where emergency response guidance specific to dangerous goods incidents can be found
