Participants will acquire knowledge of preparation for emergency landing at sea, and be able to evacuate effectively and independently from a helicopter both above and below water.
After completing the course, the participants should be able to evacuate with and without the use of H.A.B.D
The participant must also be able to master the extinction of smaller fires.
Course content
Theory:
Preparations for emergency landing on water
Procedures for evacuation
Helicopter's emergency systems and Equipment
Diving medicine and diving theory
Practical:
Organized evacuation including fleet exercise
Water recovery exercises in shallow water with and without HABD
Underwater evacuation from a helicopter simulator, with and without the use of HABD
Extinguish fires with hand extinguishers (CO2 and powder)
Exam
Written test before practical training with the use of H.A.B.D
