Refresher course for coxswains within maritime and offshore industries. The course covers the guidelines on refresher courses from Norwegian Oil and Gas for coxswains on floating and fixed installations.
Prerequisites
Basic safety training.
Coxswain basic course on skid, free fall or conventional lifeboat.
Objective
The course aims to convert the coxswain from manning free fall, skid or conventional lifeboats to the FF1200.
Upon completion of the course, delegates should have maintained and developed their knowledge, skills and attitudes towards their role in the emergency response team.
Course content
Conversion to the FF1200.
A representative selection of the content on the coxswain basic course, adapted to the delegates prior knowledge, with focus on practical training.
Turning around a life raft (STCW).
