Participants should be able to lead evacuation of passengeers and crew after emergency landing (ditching) of helicopter at sea.
Course content
Theory:
- Procedures for emergency landing with a helicopter.
- Measures to be taken before, during and after ditching.
- Dangers associated with emergency landing in sea, and available rescue equipment.
Practical training:
- Firefighting using CO2.
- Organized evacuation from helicopter to liferaft.
- Subsea evacuation from helicopter.
Exam
Upon completion of the course, delegates will receive a course certificate.
