Prerequisites
Basic safety course or equivalent equivalent competence.
Active member of one of the following emergency teams:
Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) and Search & Rescue Team
Objective
Update the course participant's understanding and skills to take care of their own and
the safety of others in a crisis situation and contribute to safe behavior.
Upon completion of the course, participants must have maintained and updated knowledge and
skills in:
Use of life jacket
Proper use of life jacket with breathing lung
Helicopter evacuation (HUET) (see comment below)
Use of life raft
