After the course the attendant should be able to: Perform search and resque operations Plan and deploy fire fighting operations Start masures to minimize the fire spreading Asess the risk of an emergency situastion Understand own and equipments limitations

This course covers the following: Preparedness/organizing First aid Fire theory Extinguishing agents Fire extinguishers Fire extinguishing and containment Physiology Compressed air and other fire fighting equipment Search and rescue including entering smoke filled areas Gas and liquids under pressure Mental reactions and handling stress
