Seafarers who are to work on board cargo ships with a length of less than 24 meters, less than 500 gross tonnage in a traffic area of small coastal speed or less. The syllabus is based on rule VI, section -VI / 1 of the STCW Convention
NB The course does not give approval to muster on larger convention ships.

No special requirements.
Objective
The course will ensure that the participants receive safety training that enables them to maintain the safety of both ships and crew in different situations. The course will provide participants with basic knowledge of personal rescue techniques, preventive fire protection and firefighting, basic first aid and care for human life and the environment.
Course content
The course contains theoretical preparatory work on e-learning, which must be completed before attending the course centre.

Exam
Written test that requires that 75% of the answers are correct.
Passed exam is valid for 60 months.
