The purpose of the course is to provide operators with solid theoretical and practical basic training according to NORSOK standards R-003 & R-005. The training aims to give a general understanding of the structure and content of these standards, contributing to an accepted safety level for personnel, the environment, and material assets in the planning and execution of lifting operations. Special emphasis is also placed on responsibility and attitudes during the performance of lifting operations.
