Objective
Throughout the course, hot work practitioners will learn what precautions need to be taken to avoid fire, and learn how fire can be stopped quickly if it occurs.
Course content
The course focuses on the responsibility of the individual, and covers the following topics:
- What is hot work
- Regulations and legislation
- Fire theory
- Your responsibility
- Before work
- During the work
- After work
- What do you do in case of fire
- Extinguishing equipment and methods
- Practical extinguishing exercise outside
Exam
Written test.
After completing the course, a certificate from the Norwegian Fire Protection Association will be issued.
