This course has been designed for well site supervisory and office-based personnel involved in the operational decision-making process for pressure control and well control and/or involved in design of well barriers.

Prior IWCF or IADC certification at Operator or Supervisor is recommended but not mandatory. The training is role-specific so previous experience is assumed. Please contact us to discuss candidate suitability if you have any doubts or queries.
Objective
This 4-day course is essential training for those primarily responsible for overseeing coiled tubing, snubbing, wireline, and/or workover operational processes of well control.
Course content
This instructor-led course is delivered through presentation of a series of interactive lectures supported by videos and animations, supplemented by a classroom workbook and further self-study exercises. The course is delivered over 4 days and includes the IADC written assessments on the final day.

Exam
3.5-hour online assessment. Successful completion of the course and a pass mark of 75% or above in the assessment will result in IADC WellSharp certification which is valid for two years.
