Objective
Qualify the student to perform as supervisor of entry in confined spaces, taking the responsibilities described in the NR-33 for this role.
Course content
Theory: 20 hours
• Definitions;
• Confined space identification;
• Recognition, Assessment and Control of Risks;
• Functioning of Equipment Used;
• Procedure and Use of the Entry and Work Permit (EWP);
• Criteria for the indication and use of equipment for risk control;
• Knowledge about safe practices in confined spaces;
• Occupational health and safety legislation;
• Respiratory protection program;
• Hazardous Area;
• Notions of rescue and first aid;
• Rescue operations.
Practice: 20 hours
