Objective
The aim and objective of the Forklift training programme is to provide personnel with the essential theoretical knowledge and practical skills to perform safe forklift operations
Course content
Delegates will receive theoretical and practical knowledge in the following areas:
>Understand the types, functions, and applications of forklifts used in offshore/onshore environments.
>Identify and explain the components and operating systems of forklift trucks.
>Demonstrate understanding of pre-start checks and inspection protocols.
>Describe safe load handling, stability principles, and center of gravity.
>Recognize the importance of operator responsibilities, PPE, and visual checks.
>Understand parking, tip-over prevention, and emergency procedures.
Exam
RON approved certification will be issued on successful completion of the training programme.
The validity of the certificate is 36 months.
VENUE: Delegates should report to reception for 08.00hrs, course starts at 08.15hrs, unless
otherwise stated.
