Electricians and others who work in and operate electrical installations.
Prerequisites
None, but the course must be repeated every year.
Objective
The course complies with the regulation on safety when working in and operating electrical installations (FSE) §7 First Aid Preparedness: Life-saving first aid, including electrical injuries.
Course content
The course provides essential first aid training and includes the following topics:
• Personal safety and alerting
• Patient examination (ABC)
• Actions
• CPR
• Specialized training in first aid for accidents caused by electric current:
o Cardiac arrest
o Burn injuries
o Electric shock
o Fall injuries
