The training programme is designed to provide aircrew with the necessary information and skills required to safely operate a Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System, actions to take in a helicopter ditching situation, how to safely operate basic fire-fighting equipment and basic life saving skills

Objective
The course consists of a combination of classroom theory, dry practical exercises in the use of a compressed air emergency breathing system, how to safely escape from a ditched helicopter, how to extinguish small fires with avaiable equipment and basic first aid techniques. Each delegate will complete a theory test to confirm their understanding of the CA-EBS

Classroom theory - Dry CA-EBS and theory test Dry CA-EBS practical training HUET escape exercises Understanding the chemistry of combustion Dealing with fire situations Identification and use of fire extinguishers Working in smoke filled environments Principles of First Aid Casualty assessment Recovery Position Resuscitation techniques
Exam
Delegates will recieve an In-house RelyOn Nutec certificate on succesful completion of course content This course can be delivered at both our training centres in Aberdeen and Teesside
