The training programme is designed to provide aircrew with the necessary information and skills required to safely operate a Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System, actions to take in a helicopter ditching situation, how to safely operate basic fire-fighting equipment and basic life saving skills

The course consists of a combination of classroom theory, dry practical exercises in the use of a compressed air emergency breathing system, how to safely escape from a ditched helicopter, corresponding actions in-water and in a liferaft, how to extinguish small fires with avaiable equipment and basic first aid techniques. Each delegate will complete a theory test to confirm their understanding of the CA-EBS
