Possess a valid, current offshore medical certificate or Possess an operator approved medical certificate or Undergo medical screening by the OPITO approved Centre.

Course content
Theory:
- The role of teamworking and communications in emergency response.
- Offshore emergency response arrangements
- Incident response procedures, protocols and activities
- Search and rescue Procedures
- Casualty recovery procedures
Practical:
- Selecting and operating firefighting equipment
- Safely operating working duration breathing apparatus
- Handling practical fire and non-fire related incidents
No. of Learners: Minimum is 5 and maximum is 12
Mode: Classroom training with practical demonstration & exercises on Fire Training Unit simulating the offshore scenarios.
Location: RelyOn Training Centre at Qatar
Instructor: Competent Instructional staff with proven experience in fire fighting & emergency response at supervisory level and delivering and assessing OPITO fire courses.
Exam
Learners will be assessed against all the knowledge and practical learning outcomes specified in accordance with the assessment guidance detailed in each unit of the OPITO product.
Certification:
Upon successful achievement of all learning outcomes, participants will be awarded a certificate with validity of 02 years.
