This training programme is designed to provide basic training and competence in immediate actions in the event of an incident on board an aircraft.
The course is designed for aircraft crew and satisfies elements of training to improve safety

Objective
The course consists of a combination of theory and practical exercises in basic emergency procedures.
Delegates will be continuously coached and assessed during the practical exercises in their competence to meet the training objectives.
The five elements of the course will provide the delegate with an appreciation and understanding of the actions to take in the event of an emergency involving smoke and fire onboard the aircraft.
Course content
Delegates will undertake theoretical and practical training in:
Awareness of aircraft incidents
Understanding the chemistry of combustion
Dealing with fire situations
Identification and use of fire extinguishers
Working in smoke filled environments
Exam
Course completion certificate will be issued to all delegates who successfully complete the training programme
