Objective
The course is delivered in a combination of theoretical and practical exercises in aircraft abandonment and basic sea survival. Delegates will continuously assessed and coached during practical exercises in their competency in meeting the training objectives.
Course content
Delegates will undergo theoretical and practical training in
Appreciation of emergency situations
Deployment of life rafts
In water survival techniques
Re+ righting overturned life rafts
Life raft boarding, techniques and safety procedures
Rescue from the water by use of a helicopter rescue strop.
Exam
Course completion certificate will be issued to all delegates who successfully complete the training programme
