This course aims to provide delegates who are involved in LOLER lift planning an insight into how to plan, supervise and execute LOLER lifting operations to ensure all lifts are properly planned, adequately risk assessed and implemented safely.

On completion of this course delegates will have the knowledge to: Understand the requirement of LOLER regulations, Understand the risk involved in planning lifting operations, Understand how to complete a method statement and LOLER lifting plan
Course content
Theory:
Appreciation of Health and Safety Legislation
Planning of Lifting Operations
The Selection of appropriate lifting equipment
The Categorisation of the lifts
Introduction of drawings and sketches in relation to lift plan
Practical:
Generate a suitable Lift Plan
Generate a suitable Risk Assessment
Carry out a suitable Tool Box Talk
Execute the Lift Plan
Exam
On successful completion of course criteria, delegates will be awarded a RelyOn Nutec In-House Certificate.
Course are conducted at RelyOn Nutec training centres at Aberdeen and Teesside or by prior arrangement at customers premises
