Objective
The objective is to promote positive attitudes toward the safe use of lifting gear G11 with G4 overhead cranes, resulting in a safer workplace, improved well-being, and reduced damage to goods and equipment. This helps prevent accidents and incidents related to the use of lifting gear G11 and G4 overhead cranes.
Course content
After completing the course at BIKS Industriopplæring in Bergen, participants will have acquired basic knowledge and practical skills in the safe use of lifting gear G11, including slinging, hitching, and signaling. They will also gain understanding of the construction, operation, maintenance, and use of the G4 overhead crane.
Exam
None. Delegates need to Complete 32 hours of practical work under supervision before they can take their driving test.
