For work equipment that the employer, following a risk assessment, determines requires special caution during use, only employees with documented safety training may operate it. CHAPTER 10: §§ 10-1 and 10-2.

Objective
This course aims to enhance participants’ knowledge of troubleshooting, operation, and maintenance. It focuses on developing an understanding of the oil system and the ability to perform logical troubleshooting through theoretical knowledge and practical exercises on hydraulic equipment. The course also provides an introduction to preventive measures to reduce maintenance costs and unintended operational downtime. Special emphasis is placed on practical exercises and group work.
Course content
Upon completion of the training, participants will be able to: Perform troubleshooting on various hydraulic systems Analyze oil samples regarding cleanliness and water content Use measuring instruments for flow rate and pressure fluctuations Understand guidelines for oil sampling Conduct troubleshooting and condition monitoring Understand control loops for position, speed, rotational speed, and pressure Identify design weaknesses and failure mechanisms
