This OPITO-approved BOSIET programme, with NOGEPA approval and Norwegian Oil & Gas acceptance, is designed for personnel who are new to the offshore oil and gas industry and are required to travel to offshore installations by helicopter.
The course includes both Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) (OPITO 5750) training and Emergency Breathing System (EBS - CAT B) (OPITO 5700) training, meeting the requirements for personnel working in the Dutch, UK and Norwegian offshore sectors.
As the use of an Emergency Breathing System (EBS) is mandatory for offshore personnel working in Norway and Norwegian waters, this combined programme ensures delegates comply with the latest Norwegian Oil & Gas requirements.
Add Pre Requisites
Before attending the course, delegates must:
• Be in possession of a valid ID (passport or driver's licence).
• Hold a valid offshore medical certificate, or an employer-approved equivalent, stating fitness for offshore work and in-water CA-EBS training.
• Have completed a lung function (spirometry) test where required. If not available, this test can be carried out at the training centre before the course.
• Be physically and mentally capable of participating in all practical exercises, including physically demanding and potentially stressful training activities.
Medical certificates should be submitted to customer service prior to the training date.
Objective
