Additional Basic Safety Training for the Norwegian Sector

Personnel holding a valid basic safety training or basic safety training refresher coursecertificate from United Kingdom, Netherlands or Denmark and are scheduled to work in the Norwegian sector.

Valid basic safety training or basic safety training refresher course in accordance with UK Oil & Gas, NOGEPA or Olie & Gas Dannmark standard.

Delegate should be able to abandon platform with use of SkyScape. (Escape Chute)

Theory and practical traing in use of SkyScape. (Escape Chute) * Conducting shoulder measurement • The course provides the participant with one of two required additional modules necessary for an OPITO certificate to be valid for use on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. For a course certificate issued by OPITO to be valid on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, the following supplementary courses must be completed and passed: • Additional Basic Safety Training for the Norwegian Sector • Helicopter Escape including Emergency Breathing System (EBS)
