Objective
The course aims to update the delegates' understanding and skill for maintaining their own and others' safety in an emergency, as well as promote safe behaviour.
Upon completion delegates should have maintained and updated knowledge and skills within:
- Fire team management
- Medical first aid
- Sea survival
- Medical care

The course covers the following part of the STCW-code:
A- VI/2-1
A-VI/3
A-VI/4-1
A-VI/4-2
Approved according to STCW-78 with later amendments (Manila 2010).
