Introduce basic notions of fire behavior and risks, and fire extinction methods.
Course content
Theory - 3 hours 1. Introduction; 2. Legal Aspects; 3. Fire Theory; 4. Fire Triangle and Tetrahedron; 5. Fire Propagation and Fire Classes; 6. Extinguishing Agents; 7. Extinction Methods; 8. Basic Procedures in Emergency Situations. Practice - 1 hour Explanation and demonstration, performed by the instructor, of usage care related to fire extinguishing methods (Pressurized Water, CO2, Dry Chemical Powder extinguishers) and fire hoses.
